Προσπαθω να βρω εναν τροπο να ανοιγω τα αρχεια .rar γρηγορα χωρις να χρειαζεται να χρησιμοποιω command line. Το ubuntu 8.04 που δοκιμάζω αυτη τη στιγμη δεν εχει καποιο gui (δεν ειμαι σιγουρος αν υπαρχει) για το rar , unrar κτλ και η default εφαρμογη που ανοιγει τα αρχεια ειναι το Ark που δεν ξερω αν υποτιθεται οτι ανοιγει .rar αλλα δεν το εχει καταφερει ποτε ως τωρα. Τον πιο γρηγορο τροπο που εχω βρει ειναι να εχω εγκατεστημενο το Winrar με crossover και με διπλο click πανω σε καθε .rar να κανω τη δουλεια μου. Μετά την εγκατάσταση μπορείς να αποσυμπιέζεις rar αρχεία, με την ίδια διαδικασία που κάνεις και για τα zip,tgz κ.τ.λ. Σε command line πρέπει να δεις το man των εφαρμογών και να βάλεις όποιες παραμάτρους θέλεις. Γιατι καθε φορα μπορει να χρειαζεται να ανοιξω 200 αρχεια και το να χρησιμοποιω "rar e blabla" δεν βολευει. Πλεον χρησιμοποιω ενα απλο frontend για το unrar και είναι και αρκετα γρηγορο και στην αποσυμπιεση.
