Η έκδοση beta 2 της εφαρμογής Firefox 3 κυκλοφόρησε και είναι διαθέσιμη. Πιο συγκεκριμένα είναι διαθέσιμη σε 50 διαφορετικές γλώσσες και αυτή η δοκιμαστική έκδοση θα χρησιμοποιηθει απο τους developers, τους testers αλλά και για συλλογή bugs απο τους χρήστες που θα την δοκιμάσουν. - Removed the new tab-switching behavior based on feedback from users.
- Support for new web technologies such as the and elements, the W3C Geolocation API, JavaScript query selectors, CSS 2.1 and 3 properties, SVG transforms and offline applications.
